A little plug for my upcoming story, After My Archrival Finds Out I Write Fanfic Shipping Him: [absurdly haughty catboy bottom × scheming, gloomy, straight-laced top] It's almost finished, so if it sounds interesting, please add it to your collection~
Story blurb:
[scheming, dark, and manipulative prince top × seemingly rakish but secretly devoted puppy-like general bottom]
The illustrious General Wen Xiujin let his guard down for a moment, and an enemy ambush on the battlefield left him with a broken leg.
The royal family's way of sending their condolences was to arrange for him to marry the seventh prince, Chen Heng, who had fallen out of favor and ended up as a brothel's most popular courtesan.
Wen Xiujin: ...Actually... that's not so bad.
After all, the seventh prince had brows like distant mountains, eyes like autumn waters, and a waist so slender one could encircle it with two hands. Yet his temperament was as cool as moonlight, making Wen Xiujin unable to resist him.
But no, he should stop. The great general Wen Xiujin prided himself on being a gentleman. How could he take advantage of a beautiful, aloof man in dire straits?
Best to just endure.
The seventh prince's perspective:
Five years ago, when he was still called Wen Xiaoqi, he went to the border to trade. He was caught in an invasion by the Tartars and separated from his caravan.
The truly beautiful and stranded Wen Xiaoqi was rescued by an unknown good Samaritan. After begging repeatedly, he managed to get the man to tell him his name: Zhang San.
Wen Xiaoqi searched high and low, and in the end found a “Zhang San” who had been dead for eight hundred years.
He'd been tricked.
Then, by a twist of fate, he discovered that the “Zhang San” from back then had actually been the great general Wen Xiujin.
But Wen Xiujin had broken his leg.
So Wen Xiaoqi went along with the situation, resumed his identity as the seventh prince, and married Wen Xiujin, starting a hellishly difficult campaign to seduce his husband.
On the day his true identity was finally exposed, his husband suddenly ran away! Wen Xiaoqi had no choice but to catch him first, then get down to some serious business~
Notes:
1. Chen Heng, the seventh prince, is the top; Wen Xiujin, the general, is the bottom. Don't get them mixed up.
2. Alternate history, with extensive authorial liberties~
3. Beautiful top~ (but definitely a power bottom)
Hope you enjoy the story~
[Upcoming story blurb:]
[cute, haughty catboy bottom × scheming, gloomy, straight-laced top]
Forced to cut ties with his family, young master Duan signed with an entertainment agency without batting an eye, successfully landing an opportunity to share the stage with his idol.
Unfortunately, his idol was the center, while he was a backup dancer who didn't even get a single shot on camera.
The young master gritted his teeth in secret, planning to confess to his idol as soon as the show was over. But then he accidentally stumbled upon an affair!
That lofty, untouchable idol was actually using his position to sleep with his male assistant?!
Young Master Duan was devastated on the spot. He immediately turned bitter and started rubbing his hands together, ready to teach the man a lesson.
Then he turned around and discovered his family had blocked him.
Duan Cheng: I've noticed you people can be so ridiculously serious sometimes...
With no other choice, Young Master Duan swallowed his humiliation, unlocked the secrets of the universe, and became his idol's... fangirl mom?
As the saying goes, bad people need bad fangirls. I'll fangirl over my own favorite man!
Young Master Duan was a person of impeccable character and a writer of excellent taste, and soon gained a large following of fellow fangirl moms.
But then, just as life was going smoothly, everything went wrong.
Not only did the struggling entertainment agency bounce back, it also shoved him onto a variety show alongside his idol.
Duan Cheng: ...I politely decline.
Agent: You can't decline. Thanks for asking.
And so the young master “reluctantly” reunited with his idol at the peak of their careers and picked up where they left off.
On the variety show
Duan Cheng was carrying four boxes when he came face-to-face with his idol. The next second, the man picked up all the boxes.
Duan Cheng was horrified. “You're so delicate and frail... How can you?”
Shao Yuanzhou raised an eyebrow. “Delicate and frail?”
Oh no, he'd gotten too used to writing fanfic.
Duan Cheng's face stiffened. He was just about to play dumb when the other man whispered in his ear:
“But I think what you write is really good.”
Duan Cheng: ???
P.S. 1. The fangirling is just for fun. The top is a power bottom!
2. There was no abuse of power; it was all a misunderstanding.
3. The top falls in love at first sight and is completely smitten.
4. The top's thought process is basically: He writes stories about me. Don't worry about what he writes. If you round things up, that means he loves me most!
Join the little mice in shouting: Chengzhou is the best match!
Theme: Those who never forget will be answered in time.
No one has the right to ask Wen Ruyu to sacrifice, but Wen Ruyu has the right to ask Chen Hua to sacrifice, right? Lao Wen is right [applause]
