Sunny, cheerful top x gloomy ghost bottom
Yuan Que dies and becomes a wandering ghost.
In his dazed, muddled afterlife, he picks up a child who calls him “Mother.” He thinks the child is a bother. What should he do? Give him away. But when someone actually takes the child in, he finds he can’t quite let go.
Awkwardly coming up with an excuse to stay, he watches the little one grow up. He thinks his days will pass peacefully, but then the child turns around and seeks out a Taoist priest to become his disciple.
His feelings were misplaced. They were misplaced after all. Expressionless.jpg
