In the twentieth year of the Jingding reign, the Turks sent troops to attack the Jing Dynasty. The mighty General Marquis Weiwu was stationed at the border to repel the invaders. The two sides remained locked in a stalemate for three years, until internal turmoil broke out among the Turks. Marquis Weiwu led his troops to attack them and drove them north of the desert. The Turks sent a letter requesting peace, agreeing to pay tribute and acknowledge themselves as vassals. The Emperor was delighted and issued an edict marrying the eldest princess to the legitimate son of the Shen family.
The Shen family's legitimate son took up a post in the Ministry of Justice.
Two female leads: a princess consort who disguises herself as a man x the eldest princess. A powerful pair joining forces.
Theme: A pair of flawless jades (the two heroines are peerless jades), shining bright (clearing wrongful convictions and making their feelings clear).
