Autumn winds, still carrying a hint of summer's dry heat, swept through Donghe City. The entire school building at Donghe No. 10 High School was buzzing with activity, occasionally punctuated by the dean's calls for discipline.
But unlike the lively scene around him, Xu Jiangyi, who had gotten up early, could barely keep his eyes open. His big almond-shaped eyes felt as if they had been sealed shut with superglue.
He had no choice but to slump over his desk for a short nap.

Some oblivious idiot had bumped into his desk.
