Key plot points:
- The shou hypnotizes himself every day to "serve Heize" (while secretly causing mayhem)
- The gong's crow surveillance system fails only when it comes to the shou
- An intense battle of testing and pushing each other to the limit
- A deadly game of "you play dumb, I play weak"
**Core premise:**
When eyes that can peer into every secret meet a crow that can weave every lie,
whoever falls first in this game of attraction, which began with a scheme, loses.
Blurb:
"Your eyes are special."
When Qi Ge wakes up in the death game "Gui Xu", he has lost all his memories.
He knows only three things:
1. Life points are the only currency. One point equals one day of life.
2. A strange fungus that devours memories is living in his right eye.
3. The pale, sickly president of the Dark Crows, Heize, looks at him like he is prey.
Heize has lived for three hundred years, and has never before met anyone capable of seeing through his supernatural ability, [Phantom Crow].
When Qi Ge looks over with those green eyes filled with starlight, Heize's fingers pause as they idly rub his cane.
-Should he kill this threat, or tame this sharpest of blades?
"President, is there something on my face?" Qi Ge gives a naive grin and wipes his face with his sleeve,
not knowing that Heize has already seen through all his layers of disguise
and glimpsed his ambition, powerful enough to tear apart all of Gui Xu.
Theme: "In a world built on lies, truth is the only salvation."
