I Became a National Treasure by Writing Novels in a Fluffy Empire

[Title undecided. This blurb is a synopsis.]

The protagonist is a top modern web novelist who transmigrates to the future, to an interstellar empire made up of fluffy citizens.

The empire's citizens were once killing machines trained by other nations. They were intelligent and powerful, but cold-blooded.

Fortunately, one giant fluffy citizen stood up, led the others in resisting their oppression, and brought them to a desolate corner of the universe, where they founded the Fluffy Empire.

Thanks to their extraordinary abilities, the empire developed rapidly, striking fear into the other nations of the universe.

Those nations joined forces to suppress the Fluffy Empire.

The fluffy citizens were powerful, but they had one fatal weakness: their emotions were weak, and they needed to absorb emotions to keep their bodies functioning.

So the other nations seized control of entertainment, preventing the fluffy citizens from reading their novels and watching their films, and even forbidding them from playing games!

The Fluffy Empire steadily declined, while the other nations prepared to annex it at any moment.

Just then, the protagonist was reborn as an adult Minuet cat in Meow Meow Alley, within the Fluffy Empire.

The Minuet family was quiet and cold-hearted.

Every day, before dawn, Cat Dad shouldered a bundle and headed out to work.

Cat Mom went mining with a hoe over her shoulder.

The neighbors suggested Cat Dad and Cat Mom sell their newborn daughter, saying she was a beauty and could be sold to humans in a neighboring country in exchange for a big house.

Though Cat Dad and Cat Mom were emotionally distant, their instincts made them unwilling to do it.

The protagonist looked at his scrawny little sister, whose tail resembled a feather duster, and felt a rush of affection. After learning that successful web novels could earn money, he took all his pocket money and rented a computer at the internet cafe next door.

From that moment on, the entire Fluffy Empire underwent a sweeping transformation.
