When Hugo wakes up (well, actually, he passed out, haha), he finds himself in another world.
The good news: Robin came too.
The bad news: Hollows came too.
This world has never encountered Hollows before, and the Justice League chooses him to be the first investigator tasked with handling Hollow disasters.
It's not too hard. His new partners are all amazing.
But he's more than just a Hollow investigator.
That's right. Since he's here, might as well make an entrance: Birdsong, in all its glory!
Gotham has way too many villains. Punishing evil and upholding justice is Hugo's duty.

Yes, this is Hugo's strange tales of Gotham.
The story will not be paywalled. Updates are irregular for now, but I have an outline, so I won't abandon it (heart).
Since this is fanfiction, please forgive any OOC moments. These characters are written according to my own interpretation, so conflicts are inevitable. I hope you'll be understanding. (Bows.)
The DC timeline is a complete mess, so I'm not following the main comics (Give us back the JL, ugh, ahhh!). Also, there are still plenty of details in the Zenless Zone Zero setting that need to be filled in, or that I haven't been able to find. If anything conflicts with canon, please treat it as my own headcanon. (Bows again.)
This is meant to be lighthearted, so no angst and misery, please! Many plot points and characterizations are inspired by Wayne Family Adventures. I'm just a lowly fanfic girl who wants to see my two husbands on the same screen (shrugs).
The entire story has no romantic pairings (well, does Bangboo love count?), though there may be close friendships or all kinds of jokes.
