Xiao Qi and Xiao Ba are little immortal pets belonging to Immortal Su. Xiao Qi is a clever mechanical bird. With a "clack" of its wings, it can shoot into the clouds with a "whoosh." Xiao Ba is a round, chubby, one-horned fortune beast. Its bronze body is wrapped in glittering golden patterns, and its four stubby legs run as fast as the wind.
One day, in search of golden auspicious clouds, the two little companions accidentally arrive in the Myriad Beasts Immortal Realm. At the Purple Cloud Terrace, shrouded in mist, they learn from the Old Dragon Lord that a great demon is about to be born and destroy the immortal realm. Xiao Qi and Xiao Ba resolve to save the world!
They pass through Butterfly Lai Valley, where colorful butterflies flutter, then Peach Lai Grove, where spirit monkeys frolic, and search all across Bear Lai Plains, where snowflakes drift... At last, they reach the boundless South Lai Sea, successfully avert the crisis, and earn the highest honor in the Myriad Beasts Immortal Realm: the "World Protector" medal.
