He is the Demon King, fated to be killed by the hero.
The hero, in turn, was cursed by the Demon King and became an immortal lich.
A century later, Leiner awakens from death, the wound from the holy sword still etched into his chest. He flees in his broken body, only to meet in the Misty Forest the hero who was supposed to have rotted alongside him: Lin Feng.
But the person before him is no longer the lively human he remembers.
He is a walking skeleton, his soul bound by a curse, unable to die.
At last, Leiner understands that his dying curse was not in vain: "Live and die together." Lin Feng truly used his eternal life to accompany him into hell.
Now one is a Demon King who crawled back from hell, and the other a lich forgotten by time.
They have hated and loved each other, yet even death cannot part them.
