As the daughter of a marriage alliance between the Feng and Hua clans, Ruan Qing'er grew up carefree and bold. At sixteen, she was chosen by the Heavenly Dao to become the Qingyi Envoy.

Everyone said the young head of the Feng family was a once-in-a-generation prodigy, blessed with an immortal's bearing and a heart for saving the world, with a limitless future ahead of her.

On the day she entered the Shouyu Realm, Ruan Qing'er traveled a thousand li to the Great Wilderness and slew the ancient remnant demon Hanba. Her spiritual meridians were almost completely severed.

Fortunately, the Qinglian Platform formed beneath her from gathered spiritual energy landed at the Tear-Hiding Shore, the territory of the Xue clan, a family associated with ice.

She heard there was an old spiritual platform there...

The people of the platform took Ruan Qing'er in, and she was tasked with removing the Sacred Son's desire for love.

But when her own feelings stirred, she watched the rain swallows flying beneath the eaves and quietly said to him, "Yuli, let's run away."

Damp rainwater glistened on her fingertips. She turned her face away, unwilling to look into his distant eyes.

-(O v O)-

1. One-on-one, both leads are sexually inexperienced, happy ending. Nontraditional cultivation fantasy with flashbacks.

2. Plot-driven with a large cast. Not a power fantasy.

3. Written for my own enjoyment. My take on fantasy, with a mountain of original worldbuilding.

4. Lots of characters and lots of secret identities, but the identities aren't alternate fragments of one another.

7. Long and slow-paced, with both classical and modern prose. Revised irregularly.

8. The female lead is at the peak of combat strength and regains her power later on. The male lead makes his official entrance in Chapter 9.

9. Updates are slow, but I won't abandon the story. If you're interested, please add it to your reading list!

Theme: If Heaven has feelings, it too will grow old.
