Zoe has just turned three and is in the Dark Continent. She inherited her mother's livestream System, and to earn enough to buy strawberry milk, she works hard at putting on ant-roasting shows for her viewers.
Her dead mother told her she had to return to the human world.
Do they have strawberry milk in the human world?
Zoe packs her little bag and drifts at sea for a whole year. The moment she reaches shore, a "kind stranger" takes her home and gives her food and shelter.
One day, while eating chocolate and watching cartoons, she sees a handsome black-haired, black-eyed big brother suddenly appear. He pokes the back of her head with a needle, over and over.
Zoe suspects there's something wrong with the handsome big brother's head, but her viewers tell her to run.
Handsome big brother: "How did the person die?"
Zoe looks at the "kind stranger's" body on the sofa. "I don't know. They just suddenly died. They're still pretty fresh, though. Do you want them?"
Handsome big brother: "..."
The handsome big brother says his name is Illumi Zoldyck. He insists she owes him a debt and wants to take her home for training.
But the food at his house is way too awful!
Zoe has no Jenny, so she tries to stick it out for six months, hoping to mooch food and lodging. In the end, she runs away anyway, ready to "find" another kind stranger.
The next kind stranger, Kite: "..."
Ten years later.
Zoe takes the Hunter Exam and gets hounded by a nail guy who can only go "click, click." Taking her viewers' advice, she decides to pull out all his nails and give him a makeover.
The nail guy suddenly turns into a stunning beauty!
Zoe: "Are you Illumi's long-lost sister?"
Illumi is the love interest.
