Description
A pure second-person otome story for reader projection, written as a passion project. Please don't leave comments that interfere with other readers' immersion or enjoyment.
You = the readers
You are a mage from the Nasuverse. You remember your magical knowledge and personal interests, among other things. (Your interests are whatever the author feels like writing about, and aren't necessarily the author's own interests.)
"You" have no name or appearance. To help with immersion, assume your true name has been distorted. Feel free to imagine any specific details you like.
Since this is a pure second-person story for reader projection, the personality and image that come across in the text reflect the author's own perspective to some degree, as well as what the plot requires. Please project yourself into the story.
You suddenly appear in a pure white Chaldea. You need to find out why you're there and how to leave. You summon Servants, travel to Singularities to collect Holy Grails, and grow closer to different Servants through a series of battles.
As your bonds with the Servants grow, plenty of them end up falling in love with their Master. But Araki Mansion... do your best! In a way, that's harder than winning the Holy Grail War.
Below is a detailed explanation of the story. Please make sure you're comfortable with it before reading.
And now, the author's disclaimer.
The Singularities and Lostbelts in this story are designed to help [you] and the people from Araki Mansion grow closer, so the scenarios will be based on the author's understanding of the Araki Mansion characters.
The people from Araki Mansion appear in their post-death forms in the story. They all became Servants after [understanding their own deaths and fate], so their personalities differ from the original to some extent. The story includes personal interpretations and OOC characterization.
The different Singularities and Lostbelts will draw on character analyses I've read, as well as games, films, literary works, historical records, real-world research materials, and papers. At the end of each Singularity or Lostbelt, the author will post all the sources and references used.
To make [you] easier to project yourself into while also serving the plot, the story will include fourth-wall breaks.
Some related Type-Moon details:
[You] are a mage studying at the Clock Tower, part of its Department of Lore. To put your personal research simply, you study Cthulhu.
As a mage, you have no real fighting ability. This is not a power fantasy about a strong female lead.
All the magical rituals and ceremonies are a mashup of Call of Cthulhu, the original Cthulhu Mythos, and Type-Moon material. Please don't take them as fact.
Only characters associated with Araki Mansion will be in Chaldea. The FGO characters' romance routes will unfold in the Singularities. You won't be able to summon FGO characters in Chaldea, but you can make contracts with FGO Servants while in a Singularity.
This is a pure reader-projection otome story. Masters, please project yourselves into it.
