Years ago, Asahina Tsukiya received a System. It called itself AAA-R270, and its goal was to train its Host to become a qualified Mafia member and help him establish a family.

So little Tsukiya was forced to have two teachers.

One was gentle and understanding, loved to tease, and had an astonishingly accurate intuition.

The other was strict and sadistic, often threatening Tsukiya with, "If you can't do it, I'll send you to the Sanzu River!"

Though Tsukiya had never seen either teacher's true face over the years, that did nothing to diminish his reverence for them.

Asahina Tsukiya successfully became a member of the elite Japanese police force.

That night, his teachers let out a piercing scream.

One ordinary evening, Asahina Tsukiya had just finished showering as usual. Draped casually in a towel, he was brushing his teeth when he suddenly found himself staring at his reflection in a daze.

The next second, every color in his field of vision slowly faded like shifting sand, until all that remained was black and white.
