The next day, Jian Xiang stared blankly at Lu Xingzhou asleep beside her.
The two of them rode to work in silence. Jian Xiang spent the entire day at her desk in a state of anxious unease.
Then, as they were leaving, Lu Xingzhou tapped her desk with his index finger. "Aren't you coming?"
Jian Xiang snapped her head up. "G-going where?"

At one meeting, Jian Xiang made a mistake in her figures. Lu Xingzhou pointed it out with a stern face and his usual cool indifference. Jian Xiang looked at him, her expression full of hurt. "Lu Xingzhou!"
After a few seconds of silence, Lu Xingzhou calmly conceded, "I was wrong."
