Character types: A useless, ill-fated college student who grows into a decisive female lead x an irresponsible, spoiled official who becomes a devoted, loyal strategist.
Blurb:
Li Pingle had a happy family and was an ordinary college student. After dying suddenly while gaming in the middle of the night, she agreed to the System's terms because she didn't want to die just yet: complete the mission of ascending the throne in another world.
Bandits slaughtered a village. Corpses littered the ground, bloodshed was everywhere, and she could lose her life at any moment.
Li Pingle was stunned. Why did everyone else who transmigrated get to win over characters and fall in love, while she had to claim the throne in the middle of this chaotic world?
And if that weren't enough, what did they mean by giving her no golden finger?
Poor Li Pingle had no choice but to grow up fast in a world that devoured the weak.
When bandits kidnapped her, she wiped out their stronghold.
When Governor Jiang Fushan offered her an olive branch, Li Pingle turned around without a second thought and joined the rebels.
She led troops to reclaim the cities abandoned by the court.
She opened the granaries to save the starving people the court had forsaken.
She seized land, lowered taxes, and protected the people oppressed by the court.
Life among the rebels was hard. People died every day, and Li Pingle could only grit her teeth, shut her eyes, and work herself to the bone. When she finally opened her eyes and looked ahead again, there was no one left in front of her, while the number of people supporting her from behind had grown beyond counting.
War swept across the imperial capital once more, but this time it brought not destruction, but a new beginning.
With her sword in hand and troops at her back, Li Pingle charged into the palace hall. The emperor on the throne was still lost in a drunken stupor, babbling, "Where's the wine? Hurry up and bring me the finest!"
Li Pingle strode forward, her sword drawn. "When foreign enemies invaded, you gave ground at every turn. You turned a blind eye to the starving masses, and ignored the people's grievances. Since that's the case, you can give up the throne."
Why were they willing to follow Li Pingle?
Deputy General: "She saved my life, my family, and my home. Without her, we'd still be under the rule of the Hu people!"
Vanguard: "If we didn't follow her, we'd be crushed by harsh laws. Following her gives us a chance to survive!"
Old woman who cooked: "Oh, who else but Pingle would treat our lives as if they mattered? If not for her, I'd have starved to death."
Jiang Fushan: "Heh heh, my Pingle, heh heh."
Wait, why are you here? Aren't you with the court?
Jiang Fushan scoffed. "Who's with the court? I'm with my Pingle."
The people around them couldn't bear to look at the former governor. Everyone knew Li Pingle had a sharp-witted but shameless, rather unserious lover.
Theme: Ordinary people create miracles.
It's so bad. It seems to have just been opened. I found [glasses] from the recommended book page.
There is nothing "more" ordinary in the copywriting
