Daily Chaos for a Young Educated Youth in the 1960s

Sixteen-year-old Xiao Yu, a nonconformist girl from the millennium, and Xiao Bei, a fellow classmate with a flamboyant, punkish look, transmigrate to the 1960s after dying while saving someone.

They become the fourth son of the Su family and the third son of the Qin family, respectively, in a crowded courtyard in the provincial capital.

Before they can adjust to their new lives, they first have to adjust to being two years older. Now eighteen, they are both packed off to the countryside.

The youth settlement is full of colorful characters: handsome and dashing, beautiful as flowers, lively and adorable, resolute and fearless, born to prominent families...

The village is just as full of characters: freakishly strong, rising through the ranks after joining the army, reborn and trying to make amends, able to remember anything after one glance, ridiculously lucky...

Xiao Yu suddenly remembers: isn't this the five-hundred-episode melodrama, The Love of Our Village in Tahewan, Blown Along by the Spring Breeze, which was a hit on the local TV station before she transmigrated?

The show is packed with unrealistic elements like being reborn, transmigration, and pocket dimensions, as well as every kind of melodramatic drama: feuds, romance, madness, cheating, domestic violence, and the classic twists of you loving me, me loving him, and him loving her...

Xiao Yu's head is buzzing.

She's the pitiful, disposable character whose golden finger gets stolen in the very first episode!

No way!

Her: Su Bingliuli Menghuanzi Yingyu Qingwufeiyang Yuxue will never admit defeat!

The world keeps moving forward, so don't be a jerk in how you treat people!

Take life and death in stride. If someone won't back down, fight!

[Ensemble cast, plenty of oddballs, but the heroine never gets the short end of the stick.]
