"If I lost these memories, would I finally be free?"
I am a bionic human, and a memory trader.
Over the course of my career, I have read many people's memories. Some came seeking release, some came for the sake of their ideals, and others came simply to survive.
They might trade away those heart-stopping moments, cast aside stories that hurt whenever they remember them, or surrender beautiful, moving memories. Any of these can be a reason to come and make a trade.
Society can easily tell apart those who come willingly and those who are forced to trade, but it cannot tell who has come seeking freedom and who truly wishes to forget.
But to me, they are all my customers.
So what kind of role am I to these customers?
Theme: A long, romantic dream.
