Ji Yintang x Jiang Seqing

On a rainy night, Jiang Seqing gets distracted and rear-ends the car in front of her. As she's about to get out, the driver of the other car knocks on her window first.

She gets out, ready to apologize, only to find that the other woman looks exactly like her first love, who died ten years ago.

At fifteen, Jiang Seqing meets Ji Yintang, the older girl next door. She thinks it's their first encounter, but the two of them actually met when they were little.

On Jiang Seqing's fifteenth birthday, the father who loves her most dies in an aviation accident. She becomes sensitive and starts fearing that the people who love her will leave her.

Ji Yintang always takes on the role of a big sister and comforts her.

Later, they become the closest of friends. Jiang Seqing is insecure and clings tightly to Ji Yintang's hand as she asks, "The dad who loves me most has left me, but Mom definitely won't. What about you? Will you leave me?"

Ji Yintang strokes her head. "No. I'll always be by your side."

At eighteen, they get together.

On Jiang Seqing's eighteenth birthday, she wears a gorgeous dress and eagerly awaits her girlfriend's birthday present. But Ji Yintang dies in an accident.

Dragging her long, elegant dress, Jiang Seqing rushes to the hospital, only for the doctor to say, "Go see her one last time."

At nineteen, Jiang Seqing lives in pain every day. When she can't go on, Ji Yintang tells her in a dream that she'll return in ten years.

So Jiang Seqing really does wait ten years for her.
