Ke Mingyi is a smart girl who's a little scatterbrained. One day, she joins her school's travel group on a trip, but gets left behind because she stops to admire the scenery. Lost as night falls, she runs into Luo Anruo, who came to the forest to recover from heartbreak, and Luo Anruo decides to help her find her way out. (They attend different schools.)
After returning to school, Ke Mingyi never sees Luo Anruo again. Six months later, her close male friend Jiang Xiyuan tells her that the school is arranging an exchange program.
