[Timid, tough office drone x Amnesiac big shot]
Meng Xiaowan, the model underling of the Underworld, the Soup Department's celebrated master of slacking, and a master of getting by
★ Workplace special skills ★
√ Gardening (model employee for greening the River of Forgetfulness / chief designer of the mandrake flower fields)
√ Making soup (holder of the patent for diluting River of Forgetfulness water with more water)
√ Forging documents (praised by the Judge as "the fastest writer in the Underworld")
★ Her wild moves when facing inspections ★
√ Get an under-the-table connection drunk with eighteen bowls of Meng Po soup? (She even thoughtfully offers hangover soup / not really)
√ Forge a "lifetime assistant" contract (her imitation of the Judge's handwriting earns a "promising" from him)
**She thinks she's found an all-purpose temp and a well-behaved little assistant, but then discovers**
√ He triggers a purification barrier while washing dishes (the ghost officers all switch careers to bathing)
√ He unlocks special effects across the entire map by planting flowers (the Bridge of Helplessness becomes an SSS-grade attraction)
√ He causes a System crash while fixing a machine (the King of Hell roars, "Who connected Imperial Power to the Underworld?!")
"What kind of connected big shot are you?!"
Qin Zhou, the temp, slowly wipes a soup ladle clean:
"The unpaid permanent worker you personally signed up."
★ Other people's temps vs. my temp ★
Other people's temps serve tea and water → mine casually fixes the King of Hell's smashed Book of Life and Death terminal
Other people's temps clock in → mine uses Imperial Power to set up automatic irrigation for the mandrake fields
Other people's temps hide from Dongyue's pursuers → mine still remembers to punch my time card while being chased
"Everyone else works 996 in the Underworld. I work... 996 in the Underworld too."
