Yun Li died suddenly while reading fanfiction late at night, only to find herself transported into the modern mythology fanfic she'd been reading. She had even turned into a fish, and happened to save Nezha, who was drowning by the seaside.
Yun Li: "???"
Yun Li: "Wait, does this mean I've become the Little Mermaid?"
Just then, a fox spirit came running from the shore, crying her eyes out and claiming to be Nezha's fiancee.
Yun Li had no intention of repeating the Little Mermaid's tragedy, so she slapped the unconscious Nezha awake with her tail.
"I saved you, you know!"
With monsters and demons running rampant in the story, Yun Li has no choice but to cling to Nezha for safety. She sticks by his side every day, never leaving him, and even shrinks down to crawl into his pocket.
Nezha: "Are you some kind of taffy? Let me have a taste."
Nezha bites Yun Li's face, then takes another nibble, then sucks on it...
And as he keeps sucking, things start to take a different turn...
With an aching back and sore waist, Yun Li says, "I'm running away from home."
The Red Armillary Sash in Nezha's hand binds Yun Li up tight. "Baby, it's dangerous out there."
"I think you're the most dangerous one here." Yun Li looks at the bulge pushing up her belly, and tiny pearls fall all over her pillow.
