The Federation's Special Operations Officer, Yu Zhui, receives a mission to assist in transferring a high-risk criminal to a psychiatric hospital and ensure his safety.
On the night the mission fails, Wen Cheng, the victim of the high-risk criminal's attempted assassination, storms into his room with a group of people and subjects him to vigilante punishment. A well-known scion of a powerful family within the System, Wen Cheng is the sole survivor of the Wen family's massacre and the Federation's Deputy Minister of the Interior.
Yu Zhui is easily pinned to the floor by a stream of bodyguards, as if he were a sparrow in their grasp. He is forced to his knees with a heavy thud.
A bucket of water soaks Yu Zhui's shirt. His black hair clings wetly to his face. Wen Cheng slaps the thin-framed glasses off his nose, then crouches and pries his jaw open, forcing the all-black barrel of a gun into his mouth.
A gunshot rings out.
Yu Zhui is reborn.
The pain of having the back of his head pierced is still etched into his body. When he opens his eyes again, he has returned to eighteen years earlier.
Given a second life, Yu Zhui has no other regrets. The only thing he wants is for Wen Cheng to die.
Later.
Wen Cheng tosses roses onto the table and strokes his hand. "Whatever you want, I can give you."
Yu Zhui doesn't look up. He calmly loads his pistol. "I want to kill you."
Wen Cheng smiles. "Can you kill me in bed?"
In the presidential suite of a hotel, Wen Cheng is soaked from head to toe, just as miserable as he was back then. Wearing the same thin-framed black glasses as in his previous life, Yu Zhui shoves his gun into the mouth of Wen Cheng, the spoiled son of a powerful official.
But this time, the gun doesn't fire a bullet.
Cool-headed, self-controlled, world-weary top: Yu Zhui, 24.
Rebellious, shrewd, and deranged bottom: Wen Cheng, 28.
Four-year age gap.
In his previous life, the top was a psychological specialist. After being reborn, he abandons his studies and takes up arms to kill Wen Cheng, becoming a top-tier special agent and an all-around talent.
Theme: Love can dissolve hatred
I was asked out by my boss on a date during the holidays. I couldn't suppress the murderous intention in my heart even more than Yu Zhui🤣
I feel sorry for Yu Zhui, this fucking fate.
