Anime Crossover: My Toilet Leads to Another World

My name is Chang Rui, and I'm a corporate drone.

One ordinary evening, I came home from work as usual, only to find a silver-haired man with a natural perm in my supposedly empty home.

In my bathroom.

Ridiculous, right?

What's even more ridiculous is that this wasn't a one-time thing.

Could each and every one of you show the bathroom some basic respect? Have some regard for what it's meant for, and stop treating that glass door like a magic portal you can come and go through whenever you want! Seriously!!!

The main story is told in third person.

A crossover reverse-isekai. The male lead is the silver-haired man with the natural perm from the blurb.

I was having trouble writing Gintoki-sensei, so I impulsively started a new story to change things up.

This is a let-loose-and-have-fun kind of story. The logic may not be as solid as in my other works. It's expected to be short, though maybe not. There's no outline or main plot. I'll write whatever comes to mind.

Updates are irregular. Expect updates whenever inspiration strikes.

Updated February 2026:

I probably won't be updating Gintoki-sensei for a while. An old anime series that was supposed to have a major role in the story has turned out to be a mess. I'll see how things go and how I feel before deciding whether to change the outline.

There's nothing to regret. I love lots of anime, and I'm passionate about their characters and stories, but I have my own principles.

Art has no borders, but people do.

I might work on a crossover with American comics first. There's an idea I've been wanting to write. If I decide to go ahead with it, I'll post a blurb.

...Yes, it's not the American comics crossover from the blurb. It's a new idea, hahaha (covers face).
