Things are a little complicated right now. To put it simply, I was murdered.
I don't know why I woke up again, but I really have become a corpse. I don't breathe, and my heart doesn't beat.
The good news is that if I find my killer, I can come back to life and start over with a wonderful life. The bad news is that this dead body of mine apparently doesn't stay fresh!
To avoid being mistaken for a zombie and hauled off for research, I tried all sorts of things and finally discovered a few effective ways to preserve myself:
1. Apply sunscreen to keep livor mortis away.
2. Practice Baduanjin twice a day to ease rigor mortis.
3. Spend lots of time around people with abundant yang energy.
(More methods to be unlocked.)
These may only treat the symptoms, and constantly sticking close to people risks them noticing that something is wrong with me. But hey, a little "cosmetic work" is nothing to be ashamed of.
Besides, this city called Mihua is full of brilliant detectives. If I get enough people to help, I'm sure I'll catch my killer soon!
Before that, there's just one little problem.
Right now, two police officers are staring sharply at me.
Blood spatter covers the walls and floor. A bloody knife lies nearby, and I'm holding an empty bottle of formalin.
All right, here's the question.
How do I explain that this entire bathtub of formalin is really for me to soak in?
