After the Beloved Omega Divorced

On the day he signed the divorce papers, Luo Jingwen felt completely unburdened. He and his former husband had married by contract: his husband helped him through a business crisis, while Luo took care of the child left behind by his husband's late first love.

Their three-year agreement was not yet up when his husband claimed to have found true love and quickly divorced him. On the day he received the divorce certificate and his share of the assets, Luo Jingwen counted the zeroes in his bank balance and felt a little giddy.

Si Xingyan held a bouquet of snow mountain roses. "President Luo, congratulations on being single. May I ask if I can pursue you now?"

Luo Jingwen simply smiled and accepted the roses. "I'm not planning to date right now. I still have a child to raise."

The next day, a call crossed the ocean to reach him. It was his childhood friend, Li Chennian. "I heard you got divorced. Would you consider me?"

"You're crazy." Luo Jingwen looked at the clock, its bright display showing midnight, then snapped his phone off and tossed it aside.

Ever since Dad stopped having a Big Daddy, he was always alone. The little dumpling rolled his eyes around and pestered the housekeeper to take him out. When he came home that night, he was holding the hand of a fresh-faced college Alpha. "Dad, I caught you a new Big Daddy."

The young man smiled shyly. "Senior, I know you. You're always at the top of the school's honor roll. I've liked you for ages..."

What was going on? Luo Jingwen felt like his love life had been blossoming more and more since his divorce.

In Li Chennian's eyes, Luo Jingwen was his childhood friend, the person who had been part of his entire youth. From their innocent, awkward beginnings to his first stirrings of love, Luo Jingwen had always been in his heart.

They had agreed to go abroad together, but that day the rain was too heavy. The delayed flight took off, his eyes blurred with tears, and Luo Jingwen never came.

The next time Li Chennian heard news of Luo Jingwen, he had already married an Alpha whose wife had died and who had a child. Li Chennian could only laugh bitterly. So he wasn't even as good as an Alpha like that.
