A year has passed since Yoshikage Kira was defeated, and Josuke and his friends have reached the second half of the school year.
The new transfer student in Class 1-B, Sanjo Shimizu, has moved from Tokyo to Morioh with her mother for special reasons.
On her first day at the new school, Shimizu is knocked over by a boy fooling around with his friends. She doesn't yet know that this boy will change her fate.
When Shimizu reaches the classroom and starts introducing herself, she discovers that the boy from earlier is her seatmate.
And so begins the story of Sanjo Shimizu and Josuke Higashikata.

She is 170 cm tall and weighs 52 kg. She has short, dark blue hair and gray eyes, and seems to show a canine tooth when she smiles.
Her father died when she was young. Her mother took her from the United States to Tokyo, and then from Tokyo to Morioh.
She is cold and withdrawn, and dislikes talking to people.
After enrolling at Budogaoka High School, she forms a strange connection with Josuke Higashikata.
She thinks Josuke is a kindhearted busybody who loves showing off.
She finds him troublesome, like an unpredictable wind barging into the secluded space she carefully built for herself.
But as the two spend more and more time together, she seems to change her opinion of Josuke.
Her relationship with her mother seems strained.
