[The King's Avatar] If I Play Games Again, May I Be a Dog

You were obsessed with a game called Glory. You joined a pro team and, before you knew it, had won several championships, but your family still dragged you back home, where you couldn't get away for a while.

Your hapless younger brother, whose ID card you'd borrowed before, walked into the room and offered a well-meaning warning.

"Bro, give it up. Mom and Dad really won't let you play games this time."

"Sure, no problem. If I play games again, I'm a dog." With a cigarette in your mouth, you kept assembling your new PC without looking back.

Because your parents had taken apart all the computers in the house.

The next day, you finally managed to log into the game, but the moment you inserted your account card, you fainted.

When you opened your eyes again, you discovered you weren't human anymore.

Bad news: You'd turned into a fox.

Good news: Foxes belong to the canine family, so that promise wasn't completely ridiculous.

You lowered your head and examined your four fiery red, fluffy paws, wondering how you could tame a keyboard and mouse.

Maybe you could try a "stand-in attack"?

A fox team captain who led a team to a world championship... Tch, that sounds pretty good.

But first, you needed to contact a few people.

In the full-length mirror, a fox curled its lips into a smile and picked up a phone with both paws.

A few things to know before reading:

- The main story is written in third person.

- I'm afraid of characters going out of character, so the update frequency is about n+1 rereads.

- The original work's authorization has been changed to something else by Lao Chou. The author hasn't touched it, so it should be a bug.

- Premise set on July 29, 2025

- Blurb revised on December 13, 2025
