The Factory Boss's Precious Wife [The 1980s]

In the late 1980s, Yan Yan's dance troupe in Pengjiang can no longer pay its employees, and she is being relentlessly pursued by a well-connected young rich man. Unable to stand the harassment, her mother decides she should find a different job and takes her to see her divorced aunt's former husband.

This former uncle-in-law is in his early thirties, handsome and composed, and never smiles. Despite his young age, he has already become the head of the largest state-owned factory in the area.

At first, Yan Yan treats him with respect and a little fear as an elder. Gradually, she begins to feel that the way this factory director looks at her isn't quite right.

Note: Both leads are romantically and physically inexperienced. The male lead's previous marriage had its complications.
