Also known as: Will the Fun-Loving Big Bad Fall for the Righteous Hero Who Makes Poisonous Mushroom Soup?
It's more or less a story about a sunny, oblivious girl and a villainous boy. Pure sweetness.
Blurb:
On this ancient continent filled with wonders, a traveling bard from afar brought Kili a ballad:
Have you ever heard the story of the hero?
They will travel with a silver-haired elf and save the dying body of the sacred tree.
They will ride a proud dragon and conquer the boundless sky.
They will swim through the deep sea with a cruel and beautiful mermaid.
They will dance with the dwarves of the mountains and pull the holy sword they forged for a hero from the earth, dimming the stars with its brilliance.
They will enter the pure white kingdom of heaven and rebuild the cloud-top temples with angels.
They will descend into the dark abyss of hell and restore the demons' order.
Kili, a girl from a small town, dreamed of the kingdom's hero from the ballad,
so she set out on a journey to find them.
But at the start of the story,
she found a handsome young man who had fainted,
and discovered that he was the only person who enjoyed her mushroom soup.
So she happily dragged him along on her adventure!
From within the primordial darkness, Bevis awoke from his slumber and received a prophecy telling him that the hero of this age was about to be born. He looked wickedly at the name in his hand, planning to find some fun to liven up the past thousand years of boredom.
He pretended to be an unconscious traveler and was naturally picked up by a girl setting off on a journey. Who could have guessed that this mastermind behind a legendary epic would end up getting himself caught in the middle of his own game?
Many, many years later, after traveling the continent for a long time, Kili looked troubled as she asked the young man, “Bevis, oh Bevis, when are we going to find the hero?”
Bevis gazed quietly at Kili. She was surrounded by the blessing of the elves' sacred tree, wore dragon scales around her neck, carried a conch shell bearing the mermaids' voices in her hand, and had a holy sword forged by dwarves at her waist. The presence of angels and demons coexisted within her.
So the young man smiled and said, “Soon, very soon.”
Because the story had to go on, and Kili's journey would never end.
And she would write the hero's story herself.
