The Cool and Aloof Minister's Fake Childhood Friend

After transmigrating into this world, Gu Yuwei loses her memory and is taken in by a family as their younger sister. They trick her into believing that she and Xie Chenlang, the most powerful minister at court, grew up together as childhood sweethearts.

They want to give her to Xie Chenlang simply because she looks like his real childhood sweetheart.

Xie Chenlang is handsome and distinguished, but cold and ruthless by nature. Gu Yuwei tries to strike up a conversation with him several times, only to be coldly rejected. He even scolds her for behaving frivolously as a woman.

At last, after an accident, Xie Chenlang reluctantly agrees to take her as a concubine.

On the way back to the capital, she suddenly remembers everything. She came from the modern world, and has no connection to anyone in this one.

To hell with it. Whoever wants to be a concubine can do it!

What, I just have to pretend to be one? And I'll get paid? Then I suppose I can put up with it.

In Xie Chenlang's eyes, all of Zhou Yuwei's little tricks, refusing to be his concubine, pretending to run away, dressing as a man to go out and earn money, are just ways to get his attention. She's merely playing hard to get.

He scoffs at the idea. He keeps her by his side only to silence certain people. Until one day, he sees her laughing and chatting happily with another man, and an unfamiliar emotion seizes his heart...

He grits his teeth in frustration.

She's his. He won't let anyone take her away. She can only smile at him!

On the surface, he remains calm and composed. In secret, though, he obsessively watches her, always wanting to keep her confined by his side...

Cheerful, guileless transmigrator VS silent, powerful, untouchable minister
