As Sera lay dying, an entity calling itself the "Mechanical Heart" bound itself to her. Before she could even celebrate gaining extraordinary powers, she was told that enemies had suddenly appeared all over the universe.
Sera: Thanks. Honestly, I could live without this.
Dying again is out of the question, so all I can do is keep my head down, level up, and muddle through.
But nobody told her that being a mechanic would cost so much!
To keep from dying of poverty, Sera rolled up her sleeves and tried every trick in the book, from conning people to stealing. In the end, she managed to just about balance her books.
Con: The members of the Court of Owls gather to urgently discuss an important matter: "Who transferred all the money out of my bank account?!"
Swindle: "It clearly says here that the Penguin willingly gave me the Iceberg Lounge."
"Then where is the Penguin now?"
"Arkham Asylum. I booked him a private room. I hope he can reform himself and become a better person."
Trick: "I knew at a glance that the AI in the Batcave belonged to my family!"
Deceive: "Joker, Joker, I've got Batman's full itinerary and recent photos. Buy now and get 30% off~"
Steal: Lex stares at his empty warehouse, his expression dark. "Who stole my kryptonite?"
At the same time, a pop-up appears on the computer in front of Batman: Warehouse clearance sale! Cheap kryptonite, 30% off if you buy the whole lot~
When the many cosmic bandits finally discover the Mechanical Heart's whereabouts and swarm to Earth, they realize something seems a little off.
With the help of countless kindhearted people, Sera has finally established the Summers Group. Standing on the roof of the building, she flashes the aliens a brilliant smile.
At the same time, countless mechanical creations prepared long ago slowly emerge and surround them.
"Welcome to Earth!"
Note: 1. Pairing: Red Robin. This is my first attempt at writing a romance, so don't expect too much.
2. OOC warning, stereotype warning.
3. The timeline is a mess. Don't dwell on it, because the author hasn't figured it out either.
4. More to come~
(Currently writing ahead. I'll start this after I finish the extra chapters for my previous book.)
Theme: Strive to become a better version of yourself.
