Unfocused Gaze

Su Qingci has always loved strange things. The dark, withered atmosphere of them has always drawn his attention. Thanks to his unusual taste, he developed a distinctive style in the design industry and became a celebrated designer.

One day, he grew tired of exploring his surroundings and decided to seek out more interesting things in a new, unfamiliar city.

There, he detected a powerful, decaying scent on someone, and began following him, keeping a close eye on everything about him.

It was always raining in Qiyue Dock then. Damp air filled the whole place, as if the atmosphere could make people grow mold in the shadows. Reports about a serial killer grew clearer through the sound of the rain. Su Qingci, who had been hiding in a wardrobe, was gently carried to the bed by the owner of the house.

The man leaned closer.

Not long before, the police had issued a warrant for his arrest.

Now, he asked Su Qingci, “Have you been following me all this time?”
