[Two Male Leads] [Sickly Genius] [Criminal Investigation and Mystery] [Parents' Bloody Case] [Ensemble Cast]
Beneath the shadow of crime in Yong'an City, the major crimes unit brings together a group of "oddballs": IT hacker Qiao Wen, forensic pathologist Chen Yun, intelligence ace Xiao Hu, sniper Shen Qing, archivist Zhao Ting, and evidence specialist Jiang Rui. At the center are two very different souls.
Xiao Yao's name means carefree, but inside, he is imprisoned by the blood-soaked nightmare of the night he was ten: his parents dying before his eyes. A prodigy who ranked first in both criminal psychology and law, he was given a special appointment as a police officer. But trauma and a frail body left him at the bottom of the class in physical fitness. Once he gets involved in a case, he becomes an obsessive "crime-solving machine," surviving on coffee and working through the night. Stomach pains and coughing up blood can't stop him from refusing to rest until he uncovers the truth.
Major crimes unit leader Bai Fangze is the perfect example of a man with outstanding physical prowess, a privileged background, and excellent cooking skills. But he's also stubborn enough to be a headache and suffers from severe germophobia. He believes that instinct can sometimes outweigh evidence, and he often clashes with Xiao Yao's overwhelming intellectual prowess.
This team of vivid personalities faces Yong'an's most brutal crimes. For Xiao Yao, every hunt for a criminal is a confrontation with his own inner abyss. As old cases involving domestic violence come to light, new clues seem to emerge about the truth behind his parents' case. While pursuing the crimes of the present, Xiao Yao must race against his own demons and draw strength from his bonds with his teammates. Can he find the truth in the depths of the abyss?
Theme: Fight the abyss and seek the light. Let every path in this world lie beneath a clear blue sky!
Damn, when will it be updated?
