Her phone keeps announcing, "The number you have dialed is powered off..."
Li Ran takes a blanket and covers her. Kneeling by the sofa, she hesitates, then reaches out and takes Li Luo's slender, icy ankles in her hands, slowly warming them.
The sleeping girl doesn't notice a thing. She only gives a soft hum, as if satisfied, and falls into an even sweeter sleep.
Li Ran lowers her eyes and gently tightens her hands around Li Luo's ankles.
