That Rainy Night We Won the Championship Together [Esports]

1. If you had to sum up Xie Yuxi and Xiao Ze's relationship in one incident, it would be their annual Gaokao interview. A reporter asks the first student to leave the exam hall what her wish is, and the girl says to the camera, "Have Rift and Ignite made up yet today?"

2. Xie Yuxi and his sworn rival Xiao Ze hit the top of the trending list after a popular esports gossip account, Esports Kitchen Girl, posted a secretly taken photo of the two embracing late at night. People in the comments saw the picture and said, "Why is Weibo haunted in broad daylight?"

Over the years, Xie Yuxi had interacted with Xiao Ze, meaning they'd insulted each other's family histories. They'd had physical contact, meaning they'd gotten into fights at the training camp and been fined countless times.

What he never expected was that one day, he'd sit beside Xiao Ze onstage and win a championship trophy the Chinese region hadn't seen in five years.

As the two stood shoulder to shoulder beneath a shower of golden confetti, a reporter asked, "Rift, do you regret not teaming up with Ignite at the start and having to wait so many years to win a championship?"

Xie Yuxi raised an eyebrow and smiled. "All I know is that we're going to take every global championship trophy from now on."

What the reporters and spectators didn't expect was that the two would really keep their word. They led RK to every championship title from then on, right up until they retired.
