Tong Zhili is the fallen young master of the Tong family. His parents died in a car accident when he was six, and his relatives divided up the company they'd left behind. By the time he was sixteen, the company was little more than an empty shell. His uncle's family, which held the largest share, reluctantly kept him well fed and clothed until he turned eighteen, then sent him to an obscure drama school to pursue a career in entertainment.
Outsiders say the young master of the Tong family is nothing like his name suggests: he's arrogant, unruly, and does whatever he pleases. He even dares to point at Fang Lian and curse him at a banquet.
Fang Lian appears composed, but his mind is as deep as the sea. He is bold in his actions and carved a path through his complicated family to seize control of the Fang family. He's hardly a gentleman.
Everyone says Fang Lian won't let Tong Zhili off the hook, and the Tong family won't escape unscathed either. Directors and brands who once worked with him quickly change sides, while the drinking buddies who used to obey his every word rush to distance themselves from Tong Zhili. His uncle abandons him to save himself, publicly claiming that Tong Zhili is an adult now, has set out on his own, and has nothing to do with the Tong family.
Of course Fang Lian won't let Tong Zhili off the hook.
But...
He looks around at the snacks scattered throughout the room, the blanket tossed casually on the sofa, and the drinks on the table. His temple twitches.
The little brat who should be trembling in fear has his legs crossed in Fang Lian's genuine-leather office chair, eating potato chips and watching cartoons. He even orders Fang Lian's million-a-month secretary to turn down the air conditioning.
Fang Lian strides forward with a cold expression, grabs him by the collar, and drags him into the lounge. His feeble resistance disappears within the small confines of the room.

"Content warnings" Read this carefully, sweethearts!
1. The shou really is a handful for the gong. He throws a fit whenever a small thing doesn't go his way, and you can imagine what happens when it's something big.
2. The shou works hard, but he needs the gong's support to get by in this environment. Those who like couples who are equally strong should read with caution. There are entertainment industry elements.
3. Don't conflate the characters' actions with the author. Discussion is fine, but please don't insult the author. I'm sensitive.
4. Everyone has different tastes. If this isn't for you, feel free to stop reading and remind yourself that the author is a weirdo.
5. There is a secondary couple, I think.
6. To be continued.
