Becoming a Background NPC in a Dress-Up Game

Lin Shuli opened and closed his eyes, transmigrating into a dress-up game as an ordinary NPC.

[Choose your identity: Merchant, Refugee, Weirdo]

Merchants have money and connections, but have to deal with players often.

Refugees have plenty of free time and money, but live in an inn.

Weirdos have a house and land, but no money.

Why would anyone with a house and land need money? Lin Shuli decisively chose Weirdo.

Good news: He had a house and land.

Bad news: The house was dilapidated, the land was barren, and weeds were everywhere.

Before the game launched

What? Players might glitch into the house? Install one-way glass!

What? The treasure chests players find have to be hidden by NPCs? Oh, there's pay involved? Then no problem.

Treating the players like a fourth calamity, Lin Shuli diligently set about building his farm.

After the game launched

The biggest crisis turned out to be the affection-based styling quests!

How could a dress-up game not have styling challenges?

In the end, Lin Shuli was stunned. He was just an ordinary NPC, so how had he become a key character in the main story?

How Lin Shuli's attitude toward the game changed:

At first: This is a farming game about developing a farm!

Then: This game seems to have a dress-up tag! Why does it have adventure elements, too?

Finally, Lin Shuli, clinging to something fluffy and refusing to let go: This is a cozy, healing farming game!

Romance:

A fluff-loving bottom x a fluffy top

The top is delicate, soft, and clingy. He acts cute and pretends to be weak to vie for attention. Pure-hearted through and through.

Theme: Plant a seed and watch it sprout
