[Prince of Tennis] Hand in Hand (Pairing: Atobe X Fuji)

"Come on. Get some rest. We have our doubles match tomorrow." Atobe didn't miss Fuji's ears suddenly turning red or the way he instinctively tried to pull away. He secretly tightened his grip to keep Fuji from slipping away when he wasn't looking.

Yes, he did it on purpose.

He'd fallen for Fuji a long time ago, and had decided to be honest about his feelings.

He wanted to keep playing tennis. He wanted to play tennis with Fuji. He wanted to play tennis with him for the rest of their lives. If he ever had to give up playing professionally, he still wanted to see Fuji follow his heart and carry on his dream, staying on the court.

Even in the midst of reality, there will always be a place in one's heart for dreams and... the love one holds dear.

Though he still hadn't managed to win Fuji over.

But that was all right. Fuji had signed a ten-year contract with him, after all. He had plenty of time to play the long game.
