“Fool's ship, fool's ship, sail to the continent of freedom...”
Because of my ill-omened red hair, the villagers shunned me from the time I was little. The only person in the village who was kind to me said that if I boarded the ship bound for the continent of magic, my fate could change.
One day, he excitedly told me the ship had arrived. I boarded the vessel I had dreamed of, eager for a new life. They said the place was full of creatures with bird feathers and two heads, brewed drinks as tender as newborn sprouts, and humans whose bodies smelled sweeter than flowers.
Only later did I learn that the Fool's ship carried the mad and the monstrous, those abandoned by the world. I was counted among them and made a sacrifice to another world.
The miraculous new continent truly existed, but miracles had never been meant for me.
If I can't have what I want, what gives you the right to have it?
