The Client Becomes an Idol (Esports)

Lin Xi felt that in his whole life, he had accomplished just one thing: being Shen Che's fan for ten years, supporting his career.

To get closer to his idol, he dressed as a girl, pretended to be a female fan, and used a voice changer to shout, “Go for it, big brother!” Then, on the day Shen Che's ten-year contract expired, he watched him leap from the eighteenth floor.

When he opened his eyes again, he had returned to ten years earlier, with a “Heavenly Dao Tycoon System” in his pocket.

The System said: Shen Che is the Child of the Plane. An evil organization has drained his fortune, and you're the only one who can save him.

Lin Xi: Save him! Absolutely! But System, isn't a one-million budget a little stingy?

And so...

While everyone else supported their idols by cheering them on, Lin Xi did it by throwing money around:

“Captain Shen, your old club is garbage. I'll offer you an eight-million salary to switch teams.”

“That rising star is trying to ride your coattails again? Don't worry, I'll pay for a smear campaign and dig up dirt on him until there's nothing left to hide.”

“The Fortune-Erosion Organization dares to make trouble? Just wait. I'll hire ten legal teams and sue them into bankruptcy!”

Shen Che looked at this sudden “sponsor” with a cold expression, baffled inside:

This guy spends money faster than he drinks water, looks at me with even more fervor than a fan, and understands game tactics better than the team's analyst... Wait, how does he know I like iced Americanos with two extra sugars?

Later, Shen Che discovered that this sponsor was none other than “female fan Lingxi,” the person who used to bicker with him all the time.

Shen Che, ears bright red: “Aren't you a girl?”

Lin Xi, slapping the table: “I was lying! How else was I supposed to get into your female fan group?”

From “spending money to protect his idol” to “getting flirted with by his idol,” Lin Xi had this to say: Who understands the joy of being the one in charge of the money?!
