Even After the Villainess Becomes a Beloved Wife, Her Husband Still Dotes on Her

This story didn't come together very well, so I don't recommend reading it.

After a car accident, Ye Ruoliu suddenly awakens to the truth.

As the vicious supporting female character in an old-school "chase your wife to the crematorium" story, her main job is to keep causing trouble, so that the male lead, her husband Li Chuanze, whom she married for business reasons, can fall into a torturous romance with the original heroine.

Ye Ruoliu falls silent for two seconds, then angrily gets to her feet, ready to smash a pot and walk out.

Then she is forcibly bound to a "devoted wife" System. Her mission is to orbit her husband every day.

Ye Ruoliu gets used to it, thinking only of finishing her tasks quickly so she can divorce him and leave.

The next second, however, Li Chuanze restrains her hand and drags her toward the bedroom. Ye Ruoliu: ?! She forgot.

That bastard Li Chuanze gets turned on at the drop of a hat!

Ye Ruoliu nervously finishes her nightly task, but the System tells her she still has to fulfill her duties as a vicious supporting female character. Ye Ruoliu: ???

So, as the villainess, she tramples the scumbag underfoot, punches her awful relatives, berates the kind-hearted heroine, and expertly plays the part of a scheming white lotus...

At last, thanks to her relentless efforts, Li Chuanze treats her worse and worse, but gets rougher and rougher in bed. Ye Ruoliu assumes this is his "revenge" for her bullying the heroine, so she tries even harder.

Until one night, while Ye Ruoliu still thinks her act is flawless, Li Chuanze wraps an arm around her waist and drawls, "Had enough fun?"

Watching Ye Ruoliu freeze in surprise, he smiles. "Wife, are you coming home?"

Holy crap! So she wasn't the only one who'd awakened!

Content warning: Both leads are virgins. She's not exactly the devoted-wife type (don't come after me, streamer). The story has a series-of-short-stories feel, so there are lots of female villains. Please steer clear if that's not your thing.

Updates every other day, give or take. (Probably around 200,000 words, then it'll be complete.)

Theme: Sweet romance
