[Western Crossover] Robin's Death Log

After dying 236 times, Rachel finally understood her place in the story.

The Joker killed her with a crowbar, turned her into a six-piece gift box, nailed her to a tower and hung her up like a strip of jerky...

She was the beginning of a family falling apart.

After skillfully avoiding yet another death scene, Rachel accidentally fell into a new world.

Here, things hadn't gotten as bad yet. The Robins were all alive and kicking, and there were so, so many successors.

She was overjoyed and tried to learn how not to die.

Then she soon discovered that she was male in this world. Rachel: ?

So the reason I hadn't died as quickly was that this version of me was a man?

And, by comparison, the death rate for all these Robins had actually gone down. Only one had died.

So she solemnly announced to Batman, "If male Robins have a lower death rate, then to keep Batman from having a breakdown, I'll consider getting gender-affirming surgery."

Her actual Bat-dad, who had just crossed worlds to find her: ?

Reading Guide:

1. Ai Fa Dian does not accept writing advice.

2. Contains a considerable amount of OOC characterization and invented lore. This is an indulgent story written for personal tastes. Avoid it if these are dealbreakers for you. The genderbent Wing's personality draws on a mix of various comics.

3. The author is an omnivorous shipper with rather promiscuous tastes. No true love, but unconditionally approves of all the superheroes.

4. The romance is barely there. If I get carried away, I may settle on a pairing and change the orientation. I make no promises about any romance, and there may well be no pairing in the end, so this is tentatively no-cp.

5. A short story, expected to be complete at 200,000 characters.

Theme: For love, hearts, and blood.
