"I've decided. I'm going to open the repository."
"What? Haven't you seen enough? Have you forgotten what happened to Isidora?"
"But, Professor, this power can't be allowed to exist. As long as it does, another Ranrok will come after him. So I have to destroy it before that happens."
"Natalia, all four Keepers tried to destroy it, and they failed. You heard what they said. Don't try to control or destroy it!"
"Yes, Professor. They couldn't destroy pure 'power.' But what if we gave the rampaging power a vessel, and let it perish along with that vessel?"
The protagonist of Hogwarts Legacy absorbed the ancient magic stored in the repository and died in the prime of her life. Perhaps the rampaging power had caused a miracle, perhaps Merlin was playing a joke on her, or perhaps Hogwarts had sought her help in its most dangerous era.
In any case, she was reborn, more than half a century later. She retained her memories of her previous life, but had not a trace of magic. Just as she was beginning to believe that this life would be an ordinary one as a Muggle, on the summer of her fifteenth year, a familiar letter of acceptance flew through her window with an owl, and that powerful blue-white light, the ancient magic, once again shone at her fingertips.
Severus, the unlucky double agent, Snape would swear by his Potions skills that Nagini, that damned snake, had bitten him to death. He had breathed his last right in front of Potter's brat.
But when he came to, he found himself back at sixteen? And not a moment earlier or later, but on the very afternoon after his OWLs, when James bloody Potter had hung him upside down beside the Black Lake?!
As Severus desperately asked Merlin what this farce was all about, a blindingly white figure entered his field of vision. Everything was different from his memories and understanding of the past. What on earth was going on?
After the Slytherin girl, a person he had no recollection of at all, rescued him, Severus was briefly thrown into confusion. But the Occlumency master who had deceived the Dark Lord quickly gathered his thoughts. He soon realized what he needed to do first: beat up all four of those insufferable Marauders!
Both leads are reborn. The heroine was in Slytherin in both her lives, and the pairing is with Snape.
[A work written by a raving Snape superfan, out of love]

[Anti-Marauders! Anti-Marauders! Anti-Marauders!!!]
[Anti-Lily!]
[Anti-Dumbledore! In my eyes, Dumbledore is more of a politician. Some of the things he did mean that, to me, he was never a suitable headmaster.]
This is my first story, and my writing is amateurish! Amateurish! Amateurish! Please bear with me.
