The Game Invaded, So I Slapped Back

[Provisional blurb, may be revised before publication]

That summer, a full-dive game called The Top of the World took the internet by storm. Its astonishingly realistic sensations and bizarre, fantastical maps drew countless players so deeply into the game that they couldn't pull themselves away.

Meng Wenxia was a seasoned gamer who loved the game. She even felt that it was a world that truly existed.

Then something strange happened.

Multiple players died suddenly for no apparent reason, their bodies left in bizarre states.

The monsters from the game began appearing in the real world, and people grew terrified.

Fortunately, the skills from the game worked in the real world too. Meng Wenxia sprang into action in an instant and beat the monsters so badly they wouldn't even recognize their own parents.
