Su Yan was so anxious he didn't know what to do.
Stammering, he went to Gu Lin, afraid he'd damaged the man's reputation. Gu Lin looked at him deeply without changing expression and promised to handle it.
Su Yan felt a little relieved, but the next day...
The rumors around the base had only gotten worse.

Later, Gu Lin held Su Yan in his arms. The beautiful young man was crying so hard his eyes were blurry with tears. He was furious that he'd fallen into the man's trap long ago and had foolishly thought Gu Lin was just being kind.
A slap landed on the man's handsome, rough face. Gu Lin chuckled and offered his other cheek. "Wifey, Little Gu Lin wants a slap too."
