Xie Ci, the most powerful blacksmith in a post-apocalyptic world, transmigrates to a peaceful modern world. When his memories fully awaken, he is lying injured in a hospital.
His mother has died, his younger sister is terminally ill, and the family is buried in debt. Their father has already abandoned them and disappeared.
A disastrous start, but luckily his forging ability came with him, along with a transmigration golden finger.
A mining minigame that lets him get ores for free.
Returning to his old trade, he forges, earns money, pays off debts, and gets his sister treatment.
But just as he saves enough to renovate his little shop,
a group of endlessly resurrecting immortals suddenly appears in the world. They wear conservative robes, casually cast silent spells, and regard technological products with a mix of curiosity and disdain. They shout about expanding their territories, contracting magical beasts, and conquering the world!
And then... they really do break the seal on the continent, ushering in a whole new world.
Are they players? Is this a game world? Or has magic returned?
Reality and illusion hardly matter. As the world turns upside down, he stays home in his shop, watching players swarm in to buy "gear" and bring in piles of money. He can keep his sister healthy and happy, and raise his "silver wolfhound"... until it becomes his lover.
He also gets his hands on an alchemy notebook and takes the opportunity to seek out even more wondrous alchemical knowledge.

Feister Cassil, a magical prodigy from the Otherworld, was forced to sign a marriage contract to protect his younger sister. After being gravely injured, he accidentally passes through the seal and arrives at the side of the person he is promised to.
The boy is pale and slender, stunning at first sight. Gentle and dependable in front of his sister, he is a lazy, wicked little devil around Xie Ci:
"A wolfhound? Perfect. Stay here and guard the house."
"You can use magic? Then work off your medical bills."
"You can turn back into a human? Tsk... You'll have to sleep with me to stay."
At first, Feister wants to break the contract. In the end, though, he is the one who grabs Xie Ci by the throat and forces a wedding ring onto his finger.
(PS: Xie Ci made the wedding ring.)
An alchemist with maxed-out combat power and beauty, who dreams of being a slacker (Xie Ci) vs. a devoted, jealous battle mage forced to work off his debts (Feister)
Reader's Guide:
1. The top is the protagonist. Both leads are gorgeous; they bicker and dote on each other. Slow burn, lighthearted wish fulfillment.
2. Not a traditional Fourth Disaster survival-building story. Also known as "Watching Players Cause Trouble Every Day," "The Daily Life of Watching and Being Watched," "How the Fourth Disaster from a High-Magic World Made Me a Billionaire," and "The NPC Alchemist and His Contracted Wolfhound."
3. Please add it to your collection!
