I couldn't find many fics with a scheming, opportunistic Huang Shaotian in the tags. Most portray him as too childish or lean on the Golden Retriever Loser stereotype, so I decided to write one myself.

Potential triggers to flag in advance:
1. Ye Xiu's conflict with Excellent Era comes to a head in Season 7, with Su Mucheng and Tao Xuan fighting for control of the team.
2. There are original supporting characters, but they don't get much page time.
3. Qiu Fei debuts with Samsara before transferring back to New Excellent Era.
4. The rise of Happy is derailed. Tang Rou, Baozi, and Mo Fan join New Excellent Era; Luo Ji, An Wenyi, and Wei Chen remain in the game; Fang Rui joins Thunderclap and plays a Thief; Qiao Yifan joins Void. Sun Xiang plays a Berserker and transfers to Tiny Herb in Season 8.
5. The champions will be changed. Blue Rain takes Season 7 to find its rhythm, and after that, wherever Ye Xiu is, the championship goes.
6. Season 10 lasts all year and is entirely devoted to the World Invitational Tournament, rather than leaving only a short period after the tournament for training and practice. The national team lineup will be adjusted.
