First working title: The Overworked Wage Slave (the author thinks it runs through the whole story, but for some reason it sounds oddly familiar)
Jiang Ning worked tirelessly through 10,086 worlds for the Green River Quick Transmigration Bureau and finally earned herself a vacation.
The main god's divine consciousness radiated holy light, like a turtle in a wishing pond.
Jiang Ning: "I hope that in my next life, from the moment I'm born, I'll smell my mother's expensive skincare products, hear my old-money father's hearty laughter, and feel my soldier grandfather's broad hand patting me. When I open my eyes, my maternal grandfather will have brought me a supplemental meal with his secretary, my maternal grandmother will put a little bracelet on my wrist, and my kind grandmother will pick me up. Wealth will whisper, 'My little angel, to celebrate your birth, the whole city gets three days of paid leave.'"
The main god: "..."
The main god: "...All right, go."
From the author:
1. This lengthy flight of fancy came from Douyin. It doesn't have much to do with the story or this part of the blurb, so you can treat it as a little teaser.
2. Chapters one through four introduce the background, so the pacing is a little slow. What I mainly want to write is what's covered in those series titles.
3. I'm a beginner at writing, and I'd especially welcome any readers who'd like to offer advice.
4. I like the beautiful-but-tragic trope. If that's not your thing, feel free to run!
Story introduction:
Jiang Ning never expected a vacation to come with an overtime assignment. She glared at the main god. "Are you asking a three-year-old to get up close and fight them?"
"Of course not, dear. You have secret identities."
And so the taciturn diner shyly asked the monsters in the instance, "Hello, can I eat you?"
And so the lamp-bearing guide, born blind, wielded her oil lamp and chased after the instance boss.
And so the mentally well-adjusted nameless traveler shuttled between instances.
"You're not the only ones," they said. "We're late, but we're here."
