After the Funeral

Entirely fictional setting / wealthy-family drama / possessive romance / taboo relationship / substitute

A good-hearted girl who only wants a peaceful, ordinary life x a willful, unrestrained rich young master brother who takes whatever he wants x a stunning mixed-race angel-faced younger brother who is actually a little mad and ghostlike

Two years later, Jiang Huangyin saw her again at Lu Zhishui's front door, and met her new boyfriend for the first time.

Jiang Huangyin obediently listened as Lu Zhishui introduced him as her cousin, and watched her send her boyfriend away with a lie.

Only when they were alone did he smile and call her "Big Sister," reaching out to caress her face.

Lu Zhishui took a step back.

"That's my boyfriend."

"Yes," Jiang Huangyin replied, seemingly unable to understand why she had to say that.

But a moment later, he understood, and smiled.

"Of course I know he's your boyfriend."

"I know when you met, where you started dating, how many times you went out, how many times you kissed, and how many times you slept together."

"When you were with my brother, you never minded when I treated you this way. But in the two years I was away, you've developed a sense of morality and shame?"

"Big Sister."

He smiled, pressing his cheek against hers.

"Don't joke with me."
