After Raising a Little Orange Puppy

He'd only transferred to Karasuno two months ago, and he'd already received a mountain of love letters. Luckily, the senpai seemed to like him, too. Sometimes he'd bring Shoyo a homemade lunch. When Shoyo lost a match, he'd gently pat his head and comfort him. On a stormy day, he'd invite Shoyo to stay at his own house, which was closer by. But one lunch break, when they were sitting together, the senpai seemed to let his thoughts slip out by accident: "Shoyo, you're like a fluffy little puppy." "Huh??" Shoyo was devastated. Had the senpai been raising him like a puppy all this time? Well... If being a puppy meant getting lunch, maybe it wasn't so bad. * Shoyo was certain that his senpai was the kindest, gentlest person in the world. ...Until the angelic senpai who had become his boyfriend started showing his devilish side. When they were alone together, the senpai would tease him a little with a straight face. Every time, Shoyo would fall for it with wide, innocent eyes, then end up blushing furiously and flailing helplessly as the senpai teased him. It wasn't until they got closer and the senpai started teasing him much more often that Shoyo finally began to catch on. His senpai wasn't gentle at all. He was a rotten jerk who pretended to be a good person! He absolutely wouldn't fall for the senpai's tricks again! That's what Shoyo told himself. "Can I kiss your cheek, Shoyo?" the senpai asked with a smile. The innocent orange-haired boy immediately forgot the vow he'd made just moments ago. He pointed at his cheek, blushing with excitement. "Sure! Kiss me here." Instead, the senpai gave him a gentle bite. Shoyo's orange eyes widened in disbelief. "Huh! Kirishima-kun, you tricked me! You said you'd kiss me, so why did you bite me?" "Oh dear, you were just so cute, Shoyo, I couldn't help taking a little bite," the senpai said with complete sincerity. "Sorry. How about I kiss you once to make it up to you?" Shoyo trustingly turned his other cheek toward him, only to... Get bitten again. He covered both cheeks, now sporting matching bites, and glared in a huff. The senpai tricked him again!!! How mean!! "Sorry, this is the last time. I promise I'll really kiss you this time, Shoyo," the senpai said with a wink. "I'm not believing you again, Kirishima! You're a big liar!" Shoyo accused him in a small, indignant voice. The senpai: "You really don't want to?" But Shoyo's head moved toward him all on its own. As the senpai gently gathered him in his arms and kissed his forehead, Shoyo blushed and thought: Darn it. The senpai has me wrapped around his little finger. I can't help it.
